The latest collaboration between Australian retailer Above the Clouds and Asics brings us the GT-2160.
The two companies already launched a "Cream/Shamrock Green" version of the pair last October, which was enthusiastically received by sneaker enthusiasts worldwide, prompting them to repeat the operation in 2024.
The shoe is now available in three colorways, which the brand Above the Clouds teased on Instagram at the end of last year. While the "Cream/Chocolate Brown" version was released last month, fans are eagerly awaiting the black and white colorways that were previously revealed.
Now that we're nearing the end of the year, more detailed images of the black and white pairs have been shared. To begin with, the white pair is obviously distinguished by a dominant white color on its mesh and synthetic material construction, with a semi-transparent section extending over the forefoot.
Silver-grey appears on each side of the shoe, as well as on the tongue and heel. The black pair, meanwhile, features various shades of grey and black, while silver-grey also adorns the heel and tongue.
At the time of writing, neither Above the Clouds nor ASICS have indicated when their launch will take place, although they have hinted that it will be this year.
