Collaborations between luxury fashion houses and streetwear brands have become a major part of sneaker culture in recent years and are now almost the norm.
Virgil Abloh played a huge role in shaping this space during his tenure as Artistic Director at Louis Vuitton.

With his streetwear expertise and impressive catalog with Nike and Off-White™, the late designer conquered the world by launching the elusive Louis Vuitton X Nike Air Force 1.

The collection, which is set to expand, gives us a glimpse into the making of the shoes.

Louis Vuitton released a short video and a gallery of images showing how a white monogram iteration was crafted. The detailed footage includes everything used to shape the shoes in order, the different components of the premium calf leather upper, and how the parts were assembled.
You can watch the full video here.

The capsule will include two mid-top pairs and seven low-top versions. White monograms and black suede monograms are part of the assembly, along with bicolor styles paying tribute to Abloh’s rainbow motif.

Additionally, a metallic gold iteration comes to life as a nod to his first collection.
A Damier edition with a graffiti theme created by artist Ghusto Leone completes the set.

Prices are €2,500 for mids and €2,000 for lows.
