The Nike Air Max Plus continues to make a splash in 2024 with new finishes.
A-COLD-WALL* kicked off the new year with a collaboration featuring the iconic Air Max Plus silhouette, and various colorways have appeared since.
Now, Nike has unveiled two new iterations of the design: the Air Max Plus Tiempo, inspired by the world of football, and the Air Max Plus Hiker, drawing its inspiration from trekking.
Upon closer examination of this latest model, the Air Max Plus has undergone two notable changes. The heel now features a removable pocket, while the upper has been raised thanks to a zippered cover that conceals the shoe's lacing system.
First appearing in this "Patina" look, black and orange share the space on the new sneaker, creating a distressed effect in various areas. The swooshes on the midfoot also feature shades of turquoise.
While the sole appears in its traditional form, the air bubbles usually visible are this time covered by a crackled print applied across the entire midsole.
At the time of writing, Nike has not yet disclosed the release date of the Air Max Plus Hiker in the "Patina" finish.
