Bape and Adidas have been getting us used to numerous collaborations for several years. The two brands have been collaborating for twenty years and releasing iconic pieces to the delight of sneakerheads.
Both brands are making a strong comeback to mark the anniversary of the creation of Japanese brand Bape. Indeed, the iconic streetwear brand is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
The brands have already started the commemoration by releasing the first pairs of Forum 84 Lows in two distinct colorways and have therefore decided to continue the celebration with a pair of campus 80.
The design is made up of archival models and also incorporates touches of the Japanese brand to please streetwear fans everywhere. To start, the uppers are made of smooth brown suede.
Adidas' three-stripe branding is replaced here with white leather BAPE-STA logos connected to co-branded gold heel tabs but is still present on the inward-facing sides.Β
30th Anniversary gold lace liners keep the laces in place.Β
Debossed numbers adorn the tabs, completing the design with standard white rubber bottoms.
Take a look at the Bape x Adidas Campus 80 collaboration with the images above. The sneaker is expected to release at each of the brands as well as select retailers on July 1st.
