Before joining Nike in June 2003, Kobe Bryant signed a six-year contract with the three-stripe brand.
That was before he entered the NBA at the age of just 17.
During his first year, the player popularized the Top Ten pair which was released during the 1996-1997 season as part of the Feet You Wear series of the Adidas basketball division.
Kobe Bryant was then able to release his own first signature pair the following year, the KB8.
The Top Ten pairs were updated with more modern tools, materials and colors in 2010.
Now they're back in a range of colorways that are strongly reminiscent of the '90s, including a colorway that represents the color palette of the Lakers team that Kobe Bryant was an integral part of throughout his career.
Two white and black versions with silver details are also included.
Designed for hardwood sports floors, the pairs feature a mix of nylon mesh and leather uppers with oversized tongues.
Wavy overlay panels and nylon straps that form the Three Stripes logos on the sides define the look of the pair.
Cartoon embroidery decorates the heel counter and finishes off the thick outsole grips.
The new Adidas Top Ten has officially landed in Taiwan but the US and worldwide release has yet to be announced.
